Raseef22 invites you to meet two of our writers Weaam Yousef and Mohamed Yousry Abo Hador, for a discussion on women in the premodern Islamic world. The session will have a special focus on tools and approaches to thinking and writing about women, it will be open for debate and questions, and will draw on successful examples from Raseef22 and beyond
.Weaam Yousef is a Syrian journalist and a former editor at Raseef22, with expertise in cultural affairs. Her work appeared in several Arab newspapers and platforms, including al-Safir, Reuters and Raseef22
.Mohamed Yousry Abo Hador holds a Ph.D. in Islamic studies. He is the author of three books and many articles on Islamic history. He is a regular contributor to Raseef22
.Together, they will explore this urgent topic and look at the foundations of pluralism
